IRC.NET (IRC dot NET) is a IRC client as well as a user interface written entirely in C#. It provides a full Object-Oriented event driven backend for bot makers as well as a .NET GUI written from the ground up specifically for the backend. The GUI supports loading dll-based plugins, also written in managed code, that can interact with both the IRC client and the user interface. All .NET enabled languages will be supported as potential plugin types.

Alpha 4 is now available! Please note that this is a true "alpha", in every sense of the word. Do not expect it to work fully or nicely, as it is not meant to. It is meant to be a demo version for early adopters to see where the project is heading.
